Diaper Pictures
Through all of this, I've tried to figure out a way for people to understand Kanyon's size. It is almost impossible to accurately show his size. So, here is another attempt. DIAPERS! Here you see Kanyon's diaper (not sure what size they call this) up against a normal size 1. He his finally fitting snugly into his diapers, but until recently, even this tiny one was HUGE on him..it went all the way up his back and they even folded it down.

Oh my goodness, that is a teeny tiny diaper! WOW! I am sure you are doing this, but make sure you keep at least one of those. He'll be floored someday to see it! And so will you!

What about taking a picture of him beside a dollar bill? Or laying on a regular sized pillow? Just something that we can all compare to.
Thank you for sharing a diaper with me during our visit last week. I have shown it to everyone. The crowning glories were SO impressed. Especially Faith - she was amazed it said "Pampers" on it. I think she's already into name brands at the age of 8! Holding the diaper in my hand and sharing it with Kanyon's prayer warriors has been a real privilege. God is so good!

I know what you mean when you say it is hard for people to understand his size. I took a picture of the micro preemie diaper next to my cell phone and posted it on our site (week 6). They were the same size. Jaxon finally just graduated to preemie diapers but they are huge. It sounds like Kanyon is right there also. I am glad his surgeries went well. Kanyon is one of several micro preemies in my nightly prayers along with my son.

Wow, that is amazing! Thanks for the update, you are right its hard to understand just how little he is. I am tracking his pictures to help me visualize what our little one's size is about right now. Crazy stuff. I am so glad to hear of his wonderful progress. Praise God!
