Back on the CPAP

Kanyon had sort of a rough night and day without the CPAP. They were having a hard time regulating his heart rate, and he stopped breathing a few times, so they put him back on the CPAP this afternoon. But don't worry - now he is cruising again. He is up to 17cc per feeding and doing well now that he's had a chance to rest. He's tough!

Jaymie and Kory,

We're still praying and thinking about you everyday! I'm so glad Kanyon's consistently getting stronger and learning how to do more on his own.

Join us this Saturday, April 21st, for the March of Dimes in Longview!
www.walkamerica.org/407635 is the site set up for "Team Shelby" which is a team that raises money and shows love through walking and running. The money we raise will not directly help Kory and Jayme but will be a huge blessing for other families with similar problems in the future.
We will meet at Teague Park at 8:45 a.m. to begin our “Walk”. Please raise funds if you can, but if you cannot raise funds, come show your support and give some encouragement to them on the Walk!
It's a 10k... but you don't have to walk the whole thing if you cannot...

It's about time for pictures again. We are keeping Kanyon in our prayers. Rick has a CPAP machine that helps him sleep at night. I'm glad it helps Kanyon make progress. We love y'all. Sue and Lynda

Jaymie - thanks for taking time to go to school yesterday to visit your other family. Jessica was SO excited to see you. That was all she talked about all evening. You made those kids day!
We are continuing to pray for you and your family.

You three and all your family continue to be in my prayers. I praise God for His great power at work in you. May you constantly feel His presence.
Love you,
Karol Edwards

He grants the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cries for help and rescues them.
I will praise the LORD,
and may everyone on earth bless his holy name
forever and ever.
Psalm 145:17-19, 21

May I always be joyful, never stop praying, and be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Father, when troubles come my way, may I consider it an opportunity for great joy. For I know that when my faith is tested, my endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when my endurance is fully developed, I will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Oh, my generous God, if I need wisdom and ask you, I know you will give it to me. You will not rebuke me for asking.
James 1:2-5

But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress.
O my Strength, to you I sing praises,
for you, O God, are my refuge,
the God who shows me unfailing love.
Psalm 59:16-17
