Picture Picture Picutres

I have so many pictures I've been meaning to blog. If you don't like looking at pictures, you won't like this blog. If you don't like looking at pictures, you're a little wierd.

CHAPTER ONE: Faces of Kanyon

Can you tell we've developed "an opinion" over the last week or two!? Unlike his tiny days, now he IS as loud as he looks!

AHHHHH CHOOOOOO!
Check out that raised eye brow..he does that a lot. "WHOA MOM DID YOU SEE THAT?!"
"yeah, yeah, yeah, you're boring"
blank stare...I get that a lot. I try not to take it personal.

cutie cutie...couldn't possibly be the same baby that screams at the top of his lungs.
This is how he gets the ladies
The return of GANGSTA Kanyon..I couldn't resist.
Uh Oh..the "opinion" is coming back!
I think he just saw a ghost in this one. Those of you who know my family..don't you think he looks like Roselyn in this picture!? Maybe it is the big eyes.

CHAPTER TWO: The latest at our house
The other night, Kory had Kanyon on our bed and he was working with his foot-stretching it and doing his exercises. So, this is what I saw.
In about 2 seconds, this is what I saw...I wish I could just go to sleep that fast.
One of our favorite things is taking our dog Ollie on walks. After the babies were born we didn't get to do it much because we were usually at the hospital. But, we're starting to settle down a little now and the other night we went on our first FAMILY walk. I wanted to take a picture, but there was no one to take it. I was not about to try to do a self timer. No way. So..meet our dog Ollie. He has had a rough 4 months. Ignored. But he's starting to find his way back into the family, though not as high up on the chain as he used to be and not back in the house just yet. On this first walk, he never even knew I had Kanyon. I think he discovered him last night..he tried to lick his toes. Hope they like each other.
I promise Kanyon is in the sling, he's just snuggled down in there.
Little snoozer

CHAPTER THREE: Kanyon is 4 months old!
Just a reminder: almost one month
2 months
3 months
4 months

Your narrative of Kanyon's faces is too funny! My favorite is still Gangsta Kanyon, but the raised eyebrow and the wink are pretty cute too!

I am another random watcher of your beautiful family. I was asked to pray long ago by a friend of a friend of a fried, LOL, and I took great pride in it. He is a beautiful child and LOVED so much - by strangers. My sisters family( Hubbys side)has learned the value of prayers and even though ours turned out differently, the power of prayer is always the best!

He is so stinkin cute. I can't believe how big he is compared to the basketball now. We had some friends that went to church with us - then moved to Oklahoma, but they had twins at 25 weeks also. Their coming up on their first birthday in two weeks - you guys have a lot in common. I know it will be so exciting when he turns one! Enjoy every second of your time with him as a baby; before you know it he will be a big boy!

I love all these pictures!!! So happy to see his little attitude! He's a cutie and I can't wait for the time when he gets to meet his little buddy Sam - what a pair! (Maybe I'll be in the vicinity when that happens...I'd love to give you a hug in person!)
Hugs!

I LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing these. Kanyon is absolutely adorable and I just love you showing off his little personality. The caption for the wink made me laugh out loud hysterically. And the gangster one was so much funnier blown up. I hadn't noticed his hand against the chin before - too cute. I'm so glad you all are enjoying the every day things more now!!!

Love the "little snoozer" picture. How cute!!! Glad things are a little more "normal" for you all. You both are such an encouragement to the rest of us. Thanks for that. Judith and Drake ask at least once a day when we are going to be able to see you all. We love you and think of you often. Joel, Rhonda, Judith and Drake

Those are all so good! It was funny that you said that he looked like Roselyn in that one pic. I actually thought that at first glance before I'd even read your note! Ofcourse it makes sense, b/c I think she looks EXACTLY like you when you were a baby!

I am a friend of a family member who was asked to pray for your children. I have checked the blog regularly to see Kanyon's progress. I lost a sibling when I was a child. He was terminally ill. So as you described all of his procedures and pokes and prods it brought back many memories of my own brothers time. The sweetest of all those memories is the one I carry with me every day--and that is the one of knowing he is with My Eternal Father in heaven doing all the things there that he could never do here.
So reading you blog has given me many opportunities to praise Him. I love the basketball pictures. Kanyon is starting to overtake the ball finally! And it reminds me of the verse in Phillippians 1:6--Being confident of this very thing that He who began a good work in you would perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. God is so good, continously perfecting His good work in Kanyon. Thanks for sharing.

Jaymie,
Kanyon is precious! Please keep posting pictures. I check your blog quite often to see what is going on in the Phillips Phamily's life. I feel so blessed to be able to share in your ups and downs and being able to pray for Kanyon and you and Kory.
We will miss you as school gets started, but you are right where you need to be. I will continue to pray for Kanyon's continued progress. Just keep us posted. We do love to hear about your precious boy!

I never get tired of seeing how much Kanyon has grown. I can't wait till he can come to church so we can see him in person. Prayer works and Kanyon is living, breathing proof. Karen

Kanyon's "faces" are fantastic!! I love the raised eye look, the most. Is that basketball shrinking, because there is no way Kanyon could have grown that much. :) Love you guys. The Caldwells
