Cousins Weekend

At the beginning of March, my whole family goes to the State Basketball Tournament in Austin. We've gone every year since Jr. High. BUT the family has grown and with all the children, the moms don't get to go. My mom still goes, its fun for her to get to hang out with the guys (plus she likes the frozen yogurt at the Frank Erwin Center). SOOO while our husbands were away, us gals thought we might as well wrangle our children all in the same place. Me and Doodle loaded up and headed to Paris. Rachel came a day later (she'd been in Brazil)so we got to all play and have lots of fun together. I was completely worn out after the weekend, but we had a blast.

Landry LOVES this wig and it cracks me up so much.

Avery LOVES Quinn. She's decided that SHE wants to call him Baby Quim. She got to hold him some and loved it. Does he look GIGANTIC or what???!!!
How sweet is that look on Avery's face??!! Landry was interested in holding, but I think they're too close to the same size!! HaHa! Actually, qsp's physique is very similar to Landry's. Even the neck roll. She's getting to be a big girl now though and is losing her chubs.

We played over at Clay and Mo's one afternoon and the kids painted a little (this was Kanyon and Caden's first time with the brush)

We also spent a lot of time at my parents' house (even though they were there) so that everyone could all nap in one place and have their own rooms. These 2 continue to be big big buddies.
Oops this is out of order. This was the afternoon we played at Mo's. The kids played in the water with sticks. Don't worry. We were holding all of them...no one was going to fall in!
Kanyon and Caden have become best of friends/cousins since they moved here in August. BUT they just recently have decided that they really REALLY love each other. This weekend if they got within 10 feet of each other they kissed! It was so funny!!

I love this sweet boy. (remind me of that in 30 min. when he's not sleeping and he's throwing fits every 5 minutes.)
Me, Doodle, Mo, and Rachel had a blast with each other and with our kids, even though they outnumbered us BIG TIME!!!
