Fall Happenings

A Fall snow storm was great fun for the kiddos.  They were excited to have the snow to play in!

They made a lovely one armed snowman....

My Aunt Mary Lynn (Boozie to my kiddos) taught us this for packing lunches....Mandarin oranges with toothpicks.  I'm not packing Jaylie's lunch, but she wanted in on the toothpick utensil fun.

School pics....

Every Wednesday, Kanyon does a P.E. class at the K/1 school.  He is the only one that is in the class right now so he gets to take a friend with him on to ride the bus and  do P.E with Mr. Johnson. Its a fun way to have quality time with the kiddos in his class.  One week, he asked if he could take Quinn and it worked out! Of course, Mrs. Alex took pictures for me!

Of course they got some good basketball time in..

J and Kory on the driveway shoveling job. Ugh.

Maybe this is out of order because this was taken just as the snow was starting to fall for this storm.  The school that is across the street from us was at recess and the wind was blowing SO HARD.  Kids were tucked back in the corners of the school....

and look closely, they're taking cover under the trees! Haha! Recess at all costs around these parts!

Kory knows I can't resist the Mama/Baby love so he took this picture for me.

Kanyon is all big stuff checking out his "chapter books" from the library.  He was feeling soon big and fancy with his chapter book.  He got in the car and said "Mom, hand me my chapter book.  I can read it to y'all....CHAPTER ONE......*long pause*.....Uhhhhh I can't read this."

Our friend Amy sent the kiddos an ant farm! We loooooove an ant farm!

Speaking of love....Jaylie June and Murphy.

The whole school went to the high school for the pep rally and Q rode by Kanyon on the way back to school.  Thanks to Mrs. Alex I get a little glimpse of their days with the pictures she sends.

Kids are strange and sometimes they sleep in winter hats and pacifiers they never used as a baby.

There are lots of deer in town, but this is one of the larger bucks I've seen roaming the streets.. This one was walking right in front of the Jr. High on Main Street.

Our cousins were in town for the State 4H horse show! We had so much fun watching them. Jaylie even got a ride on Diva after her last event.

Q made this bow and arrow out of sticks! I was very impressed! He is also in a mohawk phase.

This is another one of Quinn's creations...he whittled this stick and thought it looked like a giraffe so he colored it and then made a tree.

Jaylie and Jona are big buddies...sweet little mommies taking care of their babies.
