Yee Haw! and Other Summer Fun

This summer our area was in a horrible drought.  Kory's grandpa says its the worst he's ever seen.  Things were dry and there were fires burning all over the state.  Thankfully there weren't any fires in immediate area, but we were on tight restrictions all summer and into the fall.  One of the restrictions was that you couldn't use motorized vehicles in a pasture.  The good news for that is we enjoy using our horses! Usually we have horses and 4 wheelers working together, but not this summer!

Kory and Cash, Cousin Isabel and Azia, Tyler and Chico, and my shadow and Pharaoh.

Boss man giving us the plan...

Sometimes there is photo proof that we were both in the same place at the same time! Yippee! Also, its a little funny that I'm on the super tall horse and Kory is on the not-so-tall horse.

Just another "Modern Cowboy" photo where the cowboys are talking to each other on cell phones.

The Bozeman cousins were in town so they had a slumber party at Gram and Chief's one night!

Our friend Carley was heading off to college so she came by to say goodbye to our gang.  We love her and miss her!

Q helping Dad and Pharaoh get ready to ride.

This seemed like a good idea at the time...but those saddles are small.

Q got in the saddle with me....saddle still small.  I think he ended up getting off the horses and playing by the pond while we gathered bulls.

Me and Quinn left the bull gathering fiasco to get to a dinner we had planned with our friends.  Fun night with the Snyder crew,  Kory had to miss it because he was dealing with the bulls until after dark. It can be a frustrating thing to deal with and try to make BOVINES do what you want them to do.
