A little apnea

Kanyon had a rough time this evening, but he's doing okay now. He had a few spells of apnea, which means that he stopped breathing for a short time. All they had to do to get him to start again was pat on him a little bit, which is good since they didn't have to intervene much, but it is still a concern. Apparently this is not uncommon, but they requested special prayers for his breathing. His feedings are now 19cc, and he is digesting that well, so praise God for that. Just keep praying!

Rachel, was he on the CPAP when he had the spells of apnea? It is such a blessing to get news through this blog. I praise God for your faithful reporting.
May you find many blessings in this day,
Karol Edwards

God, thank you for all you have done and continue to do in Kanyon's tiny body. When he forgets to breathe 'cause he's so little, help him to remember. Continue to grow him up to be a mighty man in your world - for your glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen (Prayer warriors: keep it up, don't get weary - continue to run to the throne for Kanyon and family!)
