We are spending our last night in the hospital!! The Dr.s were all ready to let him go home today, but I told them I'd feel better with one more day of checking his blood. His numbers were all GREAT today, so they thought I was crazy! :)
We have spent the day pushing him in his stoller all over the hospital. He does NOT want to stay in the room. But, when we do force him to come back in the room he has a good time with his toys. He's quite wired tonight, giggling and squealing. I just took this picture a few minutes ago of his set up as he colored in his coloring book by the light of his book light....backwards in his bed.
We are both looking forward to being home in our own beds (without someone coming in every hour) with our whole family and thankful beyond words for everyone that has prayed for us and done so much for us. GOD has provided everything that we've needed (physcially, emotionally, spiritually, financially....) to get us through this time. Showing us again his faithfulness.
Next time you hear from me, it will be from HOME!!! YEAH!!!!

Hi Phillips Phamily! I've followed your blog since you had Kaynon and Jayde, I just haven't commented much. i pray that since it's friday and I'm just now reading this that ya'll are on the way home, or at home. I just read what ya'll had been going thru with, I'm praying that he continues to have a speedy recovery and back to full speed in no time. My family recently moved to Texas, and we actually only live about 1 hour form Longview, in Simms! I came to Longview on Thanksgiving night to Toys R Us for the black friday sale, i'm slowly getting to know my way around east texas. Prayers for safe travel and to a speedy recovery!
